BAPTISMS 2017
WE SERVE A GREAT, ALMIGHTY, AND LOVING GOD!
What a great way to start the new year of 2017!
Serena Keen was baptized into Christ on a late Sunday night on Jan. 01, 2017 for the forgiveness of her sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirt.
On Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017 we had three more baptisms. John David Mullins, Sara Ratliff, and Larry Copeland were baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of their sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
George and Robin Cuneo placed their membership on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017 with the congregation here at Macedonia to help with the work of the Lord here at Macedonia.
Please keep all these in your prayers as they begin their new walk with God.

We had two baptisms at the end of our morning worship service on Sunday, April 23. Teresa Matney and Jack Bowers came forward to be baptized into Christ and to receive remission of their sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Linda Dye was baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit on Sunday night September 24, 2017.
Some of the men of the Church brought the portable baptistery to her hospital room and we were able to help her into a new life in Christ. Thanks to the men who helped, may God bless you.
Pray for Linda as she is still struggles with her physical needs.

Record Attendance...
An attendance record was achieved at M.C.C. on Sunday, December 24, 2017. We had 208 attending our morning worship service.
Wow, what a wonderful week of Revival!
Brother David Bentley is such a great man of God and has been an encouragement to all of us this past week (Sept. 18 - 22).
David brought some powerful messages from God's word that encouraged us, challenged us, and gave us instruction in the ways of God's righteousness.
We averaged having 99 people in attendance each evening this week.

Justin Olivo came forward during the morning worship service (08.27.17) and publicly recommitted his life to Christ.
Also, we extended our right hand of fellowship to Dorothy Allen who placed her membership with Macedonia during the evening service on Sunday.

Wow what a great week of revival! Our spirits were indeed revived, encouraged, and challenged during this past week with our Spring 2017 revival.
Aaron Davis from The Coal Run Church of Christ brought some powerful messages from God's word to share with us this past week.

M.C.C. Men's Winter Retreat 2017...
The 2nd annual M.C.C. Men's Winter Retreat was held on Sat., Feb. 11, 2017 here at the Macedonia building.
This was a great time of men in fellowship and listening to some great messages from God's word with the theme being "Being Godly Men".
We had 41 men present for the event. Congregations from the Crossroads Church of Christ, Shakesville Church of Christ, Tannnersville Church of Christ, Poplar Creek Church of Christ, and Macedonia Church of Christ were represented at the event.
Steve Counts from Macedonia, Jeff Widener from Macedonia, Jim Belcher from Poplar Creek, and Ron Musick from Macedonia were the speakers for the event.
If it will be in God's will we look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
M.C.C. honors and recognizes the veterans in our congregation...
The Macedonia Church of Christ honored and recognized the veterans in our congregation on Sun., Nov. 12, 2017 with a special program during the morning worship service.
In the Macedonia congregation we have 18 veterans who have served in our armed forces.

What an awesome week of VBS!
Our VBS was held the week of June 5 thru 9. What a great bunch of kids that attended! We averaged having 57 children each night. We had a high of 62 children attending on Thursday, June 08.
We thank the kids for coming out and the parents for bringing them to learn more about God.
A big thank you to all who participated in VBS this year and making it a great success for the children. A big thank you to our Directors, Bruce and Tammy Olivo. May God bless each one.
M.C.C. 2017 Graduates
A graduation celebration was held on Sun., May 07 after the evening worship service for our upcoming graduates. We honored the following graduates for the year of 2017: John David Mullins, Kathleen Stiltner, Brianna Walton, and Brandon Campbell. We congratulate each of these for their great achivement.
Ladies Day 2017
The 9th annual M.C.C. Ladies Day was held on Saturday, April 01, 2017. There were 14 different congregations represented with a total of 92 ladies attending the event.
All the ladies enjoyed the event with the great fellowship, fun, and food.
Eve Justus from the Sims Hill Christian Church from Elizabethton, TN was the keynote speaker for the event with her theme being "The Renewing of Your Mind!" Rom. 12:2.
We would like to thank all the ladies who participated and attended that made this such a successful event.
If it be in God's will we look forward to seeing all the ladies again next year at the event.
